See How Cool You Installed Water-Cooled Air Conditioning In The Lexington
We recently completed a remarkable transformation by installing air conditioning in The Lexington. This is a modern residential development located at the intersection of Hampstead and Finchley Road. This lively living space faced overheating issues, a common problem in contemporary apartment buildings.
Installing traditional external condenser units presented challenges. In this case, we could not drill through external walls; therefore, conventional external condensers were prohibited. In response, our team devised the best solution: an internal condenser air conditioning system for several apartments in the building. This innovative design keeps all components contained within the apartment, delivering benefits like whisper-quiet operation and top-notch energy efficiency.
To install air conditioning in Lexington, we strategically placed a cutting-edge multi-split water-cooled internal condenser within the utility cupboards in the apartment hallways. To maintain an aesthetically pleasing environment, we elegantly fitted quiet DC inverter high-wall units in the kitchen/living areas and bedrooms, ensuring that residents enjoy maximum comfort without disruptive noise.
Our dedicated engineers carefully routed the refrigerant pipework through the ceiling voids that connect the internal condenser to the wall-mounted units. This thoughtful approach minimised disruption to the existing decor, giving residents peace of mind throughout the installation.
Significantly, we did not need planning permission for these installations. The landlords actively sought and granted approval, which streamlined the project.
Air conditioning in the Lexington – In summary, the projects entailed the installation of:
- 1 Triple-split 7kW DC Inverter Internal Water Condensing Unit serving multiple spaces:
- Open-plan Living Room/Kitchen: 1 x 5.3kW High Wall Unit
- Primary Bedroom: 1 x 2.6kW High Wall Unit
- Bedroom 2: 1 x 2.6kW High Wall Unit
Each room comes equipped with individual remote controls and our I-Feel app-based system, allowing residents to control the system from their smartphones for customised comfort. This installation improves living conditions and significantly moves toward a more energy-efficient future in urban residential settings.
