Star and Garter, Richmond, London TW10
See how we could air condition your apartment in the Star and Garter building in Richmond.
This case study outlines how we air-conditioned apartments in the Star and Garter building in Richmond.
The Star and Garter is a Grade II-listed building with beautifully landscaped gardens. Because it is listed, we had to comply with strict planning regulations. Our entirely internal systems fit these requirements perfectly.
We retrofitted our systems in recently completed apartments. First, we used roof voids to create a concealed ducted solution in the main living room. After thoroughly consulting the owners, we decided on A ****-rated energy-efficient DC inverter water-cooled internal condensers. These innovative systems kept all components within the apartments while meeting listed building regulations.
Our specialist installation team placed the internal condensers in the utility rooms and hid all pipework in the roof voids. This hidden ducted system ensured compliance with planning regulations while providing a discreet and aesthetically pleasing solution. We also offered bespoke grille options to match the fine interior décor. Consequently, we did not need planning permission for our advanced air conditioning systems in these elegant apartments.
A typical installation for these apartments included multiple DC inverter systems. These systems served concealed ducted room units in the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining areas and wall-mounted room units in four bedrooms.
