Air conditioning a restaurant within the Covent Garden Conservation Area

Cool You recently completed air conditioning a restaurant by installing a water-cooled air con system in a newly launched bar/restaurant inspired by the bàcari of Venice. Leveraging their expertise in working with listed buildings, the team closely collaborated with the client, their designers, and contractors to deliver an air conditioning solution that aligns with the restrictions of the Covent Garden Conservation Area.

Given the limitations of the area, a traditional air conditioning system with an external condenser box was not viable. However, Cool You UK offered a solution with their water-cooled air conditioning system, eliminating the need for an outside unit or drilling through the building’s external walls.

Cool You Water Cooled Air Conditioning – the only way to air-condition this restaurant within a conservation area

As part of a comprehensive refurbishment, the Cool You installation team worked closely with the client’s contractors at the first and second fix stages, ensuring that the air conditioning solution met and exceeded the client’s requirements. They installed two 7kw Internal Water Cooled Air Conditioning systems – a high wall unit on the ground floor (15m from the water condenser) and another in the basement area. The two water condenser units were neatly housed in a storage cupboard in the basement area.
