Installing Ducted Water Cooled Air Conditioning in Prince Regent’s Court, Primrose Hill
When the owners downsized to this large apartment, air conditioning was essential. Cool You installed the air conditioning system as part of a complete property refurbishment.
Common to many contemporary apartment buildings, a large area of glass at Prince Regent’s Court generates heat. The owners were not allowed to fit traditional external condenser boxes or drill any holes in the external walls of the building. To air condition these apartments, the ideal solution was our water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning system, which allows everything to be retained within the apartment. The system is contained within the apartment and connected to the apartments’ services.
Because the apartment was being refurbished, the internal condensers were sited to remain hidden but available for ongoing maintenance. The two rooms we air-conditioned (living room and master bedroom) use ducted fan coils that keep everything from view. Custom-made aluminium powder-coated grills that matched the colour scheme were supplied.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems in these apartments.
For this project, we installed:
Living Room
1 x 7 kw DC Inverter Water Cooled Internal Condenser to serve:
1 x 7 kw (24,000btu) DC Inverter Ducted Unit
Master Bedroom
1 x 3.5 kw DC Inverter Water Cooled Internal Condenser to serve:
1 x 3.5 kw (12,000btu) DC Inverter Cooling Ducted Unit
