Kensington Apartments, Spitalfields, E1
The installation of a fully internal AC system to air condition a flat in Kensington Apartments, a new-build apartment building in Spitalfirlds
We have installed air conditioning in an apartment within the newly built Kensington Apartments, located on the doorstep of the City of London, Shoreditch and Spitalfields.
As with many modern apartments, a large area of glass generates heat. The owners were not allowed to fit a traditional external condenser box, nor were they allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building.
After discussions with the client, the only air conditioning solution available was our A** rated energy efficient DC inverter water-cooled internal condensers that allow everything to be retained within the property. In this installation, the central
The central boiler/utility room was used in this installation to house the internal condensers. All pipework was routed through the ceiling void to the master bedroom and open plan living room/kitchen, keeping everything hidden.
No planning permission was required to fit our air conditioning systems.
For this project, we installed:
Two 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter water cooled condensers
Serving:
Master Bedroom: 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling only high wall unit
Bedroom Two: 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling only high wall unit
