This recently completed apartment in the Edmunds House development, nestled between the Gunnersbury Triangle Natural Reserve and the Chiswick Point business park, stands out with its significant glass area and efficient insulation. While these unique features enhance the aesthetics and comfort, they also lead to uncomfortably high temperatures, a challenge we had to address.
Responding to the owners’ request, we proposed an energy-efficient solution: our water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning system. This system, designed for two bedrooms and the open-plan kitchen area, not only meets the cooling needs but also aligns with the development’s sustainability goals.
Our solution involved strategically placing three water-cooled condensers in the utility room, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. These condensers support energy-efficient, quiet DC Inverter high-wall units in the open-plan kitchen/living room area and the master and second bedrooms, providing a comprehensive cooling solution.
Our highly skilled technical team meticulously connected the refrigerant pipework between the condensers and the room units, ensuring a seamless and concealed installation. Throughout the process, we upheld the integrity of the existing decoration, providing a confident and stress-free experience for the residents.
It’s important to note that the installation of our air conditioning system in this apartment did not require planning permission. This streamlined process further enhances the residents’ convenience and peace of mind.
