Blake Tower (formerly the Barbican YMCA) is a recently refurbished Grade II listed property.  This iconic building is in the Barbican Estate in the City of London. Cool You have air-conditioned several apartments within the building using our fully internal systems. This solution was ideal for complying with the building’s listed status.

Cool You’s Managing Director, Savva, planned out the installs after a video site survey. Our specialist team completed each retrofit install in one day. There was minimal disruption for the owners. In each case, an internal condenser was installed in the utility cupboard.  The condenser serves a wall-mounted room unit in the kitchen/living/dining area, master bedroom and second bedroom/study. This combination gave a perfect temperature throughout the apartments and allowed the owners to work from home in total comfort.
