When Cool You was tasked with installing air conditioning for a barristers’ chambers within Temple, a listed office building in The Temples Conservation Area in the City of London (Sir Edward Maufe designed the property and lies within the Ward of Farringdon Without, one of the oldest parts of central London). We rose to the challenge. The solution had to comply with strict listed building criteria, meaning no outside condenser boxes were permitted.

We successfully installed internal condenser water-cooled air conditioning units, meeting the listed building criteria and preserving the property’s external appearance. This complex installation was completed within a tight 5-day timeframe, alongside ongoing refurbishment work. The client expressed complete satisfaction, specifically highlighting the professionalism and outstanding job done by the engineers.

The air conditioning units were strategically placed in the Main Clerk’s Room and the Administrator’s Office. They utilised two 3.8kw systems with high-wall room units. The internal condensers were expertly positioned in the staff kitchen area.
