The installation of an internal water-cooled AC system to air condition an apartment in Cashmere House
The successful installation of an internal water-cooled AC system to air condition an apartment in Cashmere House is a testament to our expertise and the effectiveness of our solutions.
Cashmere House is part of the Goodman’s Fields development, a mixed-use seven-acre development in the heart of the City.
The owners wished to have air conditioning, but due to building restrictions, they could not fit a traditional external condenser box. Nor could they drill any holes in the building’s external walls. However, we successfully overcame these restrictions with our innovative solutions.
The only solution to retrofit air conditioning in this apartment was our unique and innovative energy-efficient water-cooled internal condenser air conditioning system. This system, which allows everything to be retained within the apartment, is a testament to our commitment to energy efficiency.
For this installation, a dual-split water-cooled condenser was installed in the hallway cupboard. This serviced quiet DC inverter high-wall units in the open-plan living room/kitchen and master bedroom.
Our technical team used the ceiling void to hide the refrigerant pipework between the condenser and the room unit. This approach ensured a seamless installation and eliminated the need for planning permission, showcasing our technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
For this project, we installed:
One 7kw (24,000 Btu) DC Inverter dual split water-cooled condenser
Serving:
Open Plan Living Room: 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling only high wall unit Master Bedroom: 3.5kw (12,000 Btu) DC Inverter cooling only high wall unit
