A Case Study Highlighting Our Fully Internal Air Conditioning System in the Orchard Building in Central Clerkenwell

Our recent project successfully installed state-of-the-art air conditioning systems in the Orchard Building, a modern apartment complex in Central Clerkenwell. The layout of each apartment includes an expansive open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, complemented by large windows that provide ample natural light. However, these lead to considerable solar gain and heat build-up.

To address this, our Managing Director, Savva, meticulously planned the air conditioning installations to maximise efficiency and comfort. Our dedicated installation team, composed of skilled specialists, completed each retrofit in a single day. This streamlined approach minimised disruption for residents and ensured they could enjoy their new cooling systems almost immediately.

In every apartment, we installed a compact internal condenser in the utility cupboard. By strategically placing the unit, we could conserve space while maintaining optimal performance. This condenser is connected to a modern, high-wall unit in the kitchen/living/dining area, designed to blend seamlessly with the apartment’s aesthetic. The high-wall unit operates quietly while effectively neutralising heat buildup, ensuring a comfortable environment during the year’s hottest months.
