Air Conditioning A Flat In Woods House, Grosvenor Waterside, Using A Water Cooled Internal AC System
This case study explores air conditioning a flat in Woods House, Grosvenor Waterside, using Cool You’s exclusive fully internal water-cooled air conditioning system. The flat is situated next to the River Thames on the North side of Chelsea Bridge and overlooks a noisy railway line.
As with many brand-new contemporary apartment buildings, they can get hot. ”Summertime is not easy if you live in Woods House in southwest London. When the sun rises, so does the temperature in the building”. In this case, as with most similar buildings, the owner could not fit a traditional external condenser box. He was not allowed to drill any holes in the external walls of the building. The only solution available was our unique and revolutionary water-cooled air conditioning system that allows everything to be retained within the apartment.
Our engineering team swiftly installed the water condensers in the apartments’ hall utility cupboard. The pipework was fed through the wall to a 3.8f kW (13000btu) with a quiet high wall unit in the master bedroom and the same specification high wall unit in the living room/kitchen area. Our joiners neatly boxed in the pipework to this unit. The installation was completed in just one day, minimising disruption to the owner’s daily routine.
Notably, no planning permission was required to fit our water-cooled air conditioning system, providing a hassle-free solution for your cooling needs.
For this project, we installed:
2 x Water Condenser Units
2 x 3.8f kW (13000btu) water-cooled high wall split systems
